Marlene Anne (Brusich) Nardinger, 82

| September 25, 2020 12:00 AM

Marlene Anne (Brusich) Nardinger, 82, of Kalispell, was called to the Kingdom of God on Sept. 20, 2020, following an extended battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude Brusich; and is survived by her husband, Kenneth, of 59 years, as well as their two children, Sue (Wes) Plummer and Brenda (Mike) Anderson; grandchildren, Jeremy (Janell) Plummer and Amy (Eric) Gardner, eight great-grandchildren; and her brother, Bill Brusich (Diane Burns).

On Aug. 29, 1961, she married Kenneth. After receiving her four-year degree at the College of Great Falls, they moved to Kalispell where she began a 38-year career as a teacher of St. Matthew’s School where “Mrs. Nardinger” will long be remembered as a classy and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for teaching and reading to her students.

She loved her flowers, especially those at the Swan Lake cabin. She was also known for always having a homemade cookie in the jar when you stopped by!

Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is handling her cremation. Per Ken’s request, the service will be delayed until the two of them have “That Good Night” holding hands together.

Donations can be made to St. Matthew’s located at 602 North Main Street, Kalispell MT 59901.

Special thanks to Frontier Hospice and the staff of Prestige Assisted Living for their care of our family.
