LAW ROUNDUP: Parking issue prompts alley spat

Kalispell Police Department received a parking complaint from a woman who allegedly approached an obnoxious young man after he pulled his truck into an alley. When she supposedly asked him to move, so she could park in the spot posted as private parking, he said, “I suppose you own the (expletive) alley,” and rolled up his window.

Hypodermic needles were reportedly found in a men's room near a park pool and playground area.

A man allegedly told dispatchers “I believe there’s a domestic on the left side,” hung up and didn’t answer when dispatchers called him back. The issue turned out to be verbal and parties calmed down.

Someone reportedly confronted a man driving a red truck who they thought was speeding more than 90 mph before pulling into a business off Treeline Road. The driver’s response to the reckless driving allegation was that he was in a hurry.

Mischievous youths were seen stealing yard signs on Fifth Street West.

A man claimed his roommate jumped on him and attacked him. The roommate alleged he went through her phone and was upset she told a friend she wanted him to move out. The disturbance was deemed verbal only and both were separated for the night.

The door to an office was allegedly busted in and someone gained entry.

A lot of screaming, yelling, cursing was heard on 11th Street in Columbia Falls where a woman’s roommate reportedly threatened to hit her and was breaking things. The woman told the Columbia Falls Police Department she locked herself in a bedroom and then kicked the roommate out.

A man on Fourth Avenue allegedly wanted to block another man’s vehicle in a driveway who then tried to run him over. The incident was supposedly over an arrest for pawning stolen goods.
