Students claim Hockaday’s Curator’s Choice Awards

Two local high school students won the Hockaday Museum of Art’s Curator’s Choice Award for its New Artists 2021 annual High School Art Exhibition.

3-D Art: Craig Hill, Glacier High School — “Dog” wire sculpture, 24 x 36 x 12 inches.

2-D Art: Jadi Walburn, Whitefish High School — “The Violet Man” mixed media, acrylic, collage, 24 x 18 inches.

The winners each receive a $100 cash award plus a one-year family museum membership. Come by the museum and vote for your favorite work to receive the People's Choice Award by Saturday, May 8. The winner will be announced May 10.
