Denim Grant Carlson, 22

Denim Grant Carlson, a diesel technician and resident of Bigfork, died unexpectedly on Aug. 4, 2021, at the age of 22.

Denim is survived by his parents, Dani Lynn (Sedivy) Carlson and David Grant Carlson; his sister, Dylan Lynn Carlson; his grandparents, James and M. Joyce Sedivy; grandmother, Arlene M. Carlson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandfather, Richard Grant Carlson.

Denim was born on Jan, 22, 1999, at 9:49 a.m. at Kalispell Regional Hospital. He resided in Swan Lake while he attended Bigfork schools and graduated June of 2017. He worked at Eagle Bend Golf Course during his time in high school. A year later, June 2018, he earned his Associate of Diesel Technology degree at College of Western Idaho in Meridian. Western States in Kalispell employed Denim as a diesel tech for three years. Throughout his life he continuously helped the family business, Swan Bar, located in Swan Lake.

Denim thoroughly enjoyed skiing, golfing, playing on the water, laughing with friends and family, and working on cars with his father and uncle. He will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who knew him.

A memorial service is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the Bigfork High School gymnasium. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at the service.
