Law roundup: Kids attempt to build the great pyramid
An employee reported people allegedly were trying to break the lock off a storage bin containing old tires and believed the culprits were most likely kids because in the past, the trashed tires had been spread out to make “nonsensical formations,” such as pyramids or lines. In this instance, they found a rock with a marking on it and debris on the storage lock. The location was marked for extra patrol by the Kalispell Police Department.
A woman with red hair allegedly stole totes, backpacks and Lysol wipes.
An erratic and intoxicated neighbor was reportedly screaming and carrying on at 8:30 a.m.
Two kids in trucks were harassing customers in a store parking lot. All parties moved along.
A hotel allegedly had an issue with a man parking and sleeping in his vehicle in their lot, despite an employee telling him several times to leave. The man told officers the battery was dead on his vehicle and was working on getting a jumpstart and would then leave. He was advised he could be charged if he failed to do so.
A decrepit truck bed with a makeshift camper sat at a location for at least a week. The homemade trailer was stickered.
Someone requested a welfare check on a shirtless man lying down at the entrance of a location and shaking his leg. They claimed he wasn’t responding when they spoke to him and thought he might be on drugs. The man was moved along.

A skinny man with a cigarette in his mouth allegedly jogged up to a gas station and kept looking around nervously. An employee thought they heard a woman who sounded upset like he possibly knocked her down.
Someone complained their neighbors were stomping around and being loud and building management wouldn’t do anything. Officers counseled them about their options.
An upset man allegedly had surveillance footage of a 14-year-old getting into his garage and told police this was the third time. He also claimed the youth had a past that involved stealing a firearm.
