Law Roundup: Scantily clad gentleman out for a walk

A man in his underwear was spotted walking on Fourth Avenue West in Columbia Falls. According to a passerby, the scantily clad gentleman was carrying a paper and looking “really confused.” However, the Columbia Falls Police Department couldn’t find him, so they decided to see if he had gone home.

A grandmother in a difficult position called police about her grandson, who was apparently involved in a DUI while his mother was in jail.

A misguided thief allegedly removed the hinges on a Dumpster behind a bank and looked through the trash. The bank manager said the bank didn’t put anything valuable in the Dumpster.

Tools were taken out of a trailer that was left open “most of the day.”

A prankster called a business, screamed into the phone and then disconnected. It seemed as though someone was using an employee’s phone number to place prank calls without actually being in possession of the woman’s phone.

Someone on Council Bluffs Drive in Columbia Falls said he “just wanted to say ‘hi.’”

A caller wanted to report an intoxicated driver near a bar at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Montana 40.

A neighbor was worried about two elderly people because their dog barked for six hours straight. The caller said the dog was exhibiting “unusual behavior.” Police got in touch with the dog owners.
