Christopher Michael Gendreau, 42

| August 31, 2021 12:00 AM

Christopher Michael Gendreau, the most loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, went home to the Lord on Aug. 26, 2021, at the age of 42 due to COVID.

Christopher was born on Aug. 7, 1979, in Kalispell. He earned his GED in 1997 and held many jobs throughout the Flathead Valley. He was currently employed at Stampede Packing Co. and enjoyed his job, coworkers, and especially discounted bacon! He married Nicki and had three beautiful children; Rylee, Farley and Kassi. In 2014 Chris met the love of his life, Jennifer, and they married in 2020. They spent their seven years together making the most of the short time they had enjoying Sunday

drives, traveling, concerts, and time on Flathead Lake. Chris would always joke he was a jack-of-all-trades, master of none. However, the recent remodel of his home proved he was a master of some, and the beautiful work he did left many in awe. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting. He held especially dear the many trips with his best friend (Dad) and his boys. Chris was always willing to lend a helping hand and could be seen helping out his parents, a neighbor, or helping a stranger push their car out of a snowbank.

Chris will forever be loved by his surviving family; father and mother Larry and Susan Gendreau; loving wife Jennifer Gendreau; his four children, daughter Kassi Ward, sons Farley and Rylee Gendreau, and Taylor Spaulding; sisters Lacey (Jerod) Oftedahl and Kimi Lindsay; granddaughter, Eva Arico; and nieces and nephews, Jackson, Addi, Mason, Elli, Marley, Scout, and Myles.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Lee and Gilbert Gendreau, Kathy and Richard Pierce, and cousins Tyler and Zachary Pierce.

Services will be at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m., with a luncheon reception to follow at the Elks Lodge.
