Tara LaReene (Rasmussen) Wahl

Tara LaReene (Rasmussen) Wahl went to her reward on Nov. 12, 2021, at Logan Health Medical Center.

She was born in Logan, Utah. She was many years disabled from several car accidents and the onset of Covid-19 was the cause of her death. She attended Flathead County High School. She married an Air Force man in Alaska and moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she was administrative assistant to the commander of Falcon Air Force Base. Later in life she graduated from Flathead Valley Community College. From there she graduated with a Bachelor or Art in Art History degree from Montana State in Bozeman. She then pursued a Master of Art History degree from Chico State in Northern California. She postponed getting the master’s to care for two of her grandchildren. She continued her interest in art by painting many works of art here in the valley.

She is survived by her parents, Arlee and Hazel Rasmussen of Kalispell, her sisters Darcy Rasmussen of Anderson Island, Washington, and Tavia (Rasmussen) Barr of Palmer, Alaska, and her brother Wade Rasmussen of Beaverton, Oregon; grandchildren, Aspen Rogers of Lebanon, Oregon, Austin Young of Kalispell, Jade Wolfe of Kalispell, and Kaine Wolfe of Kalispell; and three great-grandchildren in Lebanon.

She was preceded in death by her only child, Jyana Wolfe, of Kalispell.

A memorial service is planned for early summer.
