Glee Club carols Friday at Paint, Metal & Mud
The North Valley Music School Glee Club will be performing live music for the public during the Holiday Art Stroll Dec 3 outside of Paint, Metal & Mud’s new location, 8 First St. E. (suite 104) in downtown Kalispell.
Paint, Metal & Mud is a co-op of local artists who share the gallery space and take turns working to sell each other’s work. Formerly located in the Kalispell Grand Hotel, the gallery had to move at the beginning of the year due to the change in ownership of the hotel and remodeling being done.
Now on the east side of Main Street, the gallery is marked by the beautifully painted bench and brightly colored door (both painted by artists part of the co-op) and features jewelry, pottery, quilted and fiber art, photography, illustration, glass art, watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings and felted hats, all made locally.
Outside the gallery is a “give-and-take” ornament tree.
Karen Pogorzelski, who teaches with NVMS for summer camp programs and the Glee Club, will be leading the music Dec 3, and will also be playing some carols on her fiddle throughout the evening.
The Glee Club is open to kids ages 7 to 12.
