Donna Lee Heffner, 71

Donna Lee Heffner, of Dayton, Montana, was born on May 5, 1950, in Havre to Clifton Lee and Donna Beverly Matthews and died on Nov. 8, 2021 in Kalispell. Most of her growing up years were spent in Flathead County, graduating from Columbia Falls High in 1968.

She married Gerald Jerome Heffner on May 6, 1968, in Libby. From this union were born two sons, JSon and DJ.

As a member of the Fort Belknap Indian Tribe, she was interested in all of the arts of the Native Americans. She enjoyed growing fruit and collected everything.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and son DJ, also sisters Linda Lee Matthews and Vicki Brown.

She is survived by her son, JSon (Bonnie) Heffner of Idaho, grandchildren Cody and Kiera Heffner and Danielle and Kiley Heffner, and three great-grandchildren, her brother, William Matthews of Coram, sisters Juanita (Steve) Niswonger of Coram and Elizabeth (Larry) Anderson of Warland Creek, Montana.

After a short illness she became another statistic in the genocide of 2021.
