Nada L. Halan, 90

Nada L. Halan, 90, passed on very peacefully with her family in attendance in Whitefish the morning of Dec. 8 , 2021.

Nada was born on Aug. 4, 1931, in Detroit to Joseph and Margaret Cooper. She had 13 siblings. She married her beloved Walter Halan and was blessed with four children of her own, Peter, Shawn, David and Michael.

She is survived by her four children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by a host of friends who adored Nada for her benevolence, her humor and her warmth. She considered herself a child of

God and a sister to her fellow believers. Her greatest passions were revering her Savior Jesus Christ, raising and teaching her children and grandchildren, and caring for those in need.

Nada worked on operation Christmas Child (Samaritan’s Purse), providing shoe boxes of gifts that went around the globe to those in need for over 14 years.

She will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by so very many.

Funeral services for Nada will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Calvary Chapel in Whitefish. Services for Nada will also be live streamed at www.ccwhitefish.com.
