Robert J. Teets, 85, was born June 3, 1936, in Columbia Falls to Robert Charles Teets and Ella Mae Watson Teets.

Bob was raised in the Columbia Heights area and attended Badrock and Columbia Falls schools. Bob grew up farming and loved animals. He had many faithful dogs over the years. As a young man he went into operating heavy equipment, then into all aspects of the logging industry, then onto owning and operating his own logging truck company, Far Nuff Trucking. Bob retired in 2001.

He was an avid outdoorsman; he loved fishing, hunting, boating, trail bike riding and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Flathead Snowmobile Association for 30-plus years.

Bob was loved by many and will be hugely missed.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Darla Teets; his sons, Robert Charles Teets, and Rick Teets, his wife Pam and their two sons Daryl Teets and Aaron Teets, and his sisters Doris Pease and Donna DeLong. Bob has seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Cheryl Teets Staas, and his sister Marjorie Teets Pease.

Bob died peacefully at home from natural causes on the morning of Dec. 12, 2021.
