Law roundup: Man blames TikTok for tire tampering

Someone allegedly removed all the lug nuts off the rear passenger tire of a man’s truck, which was parked with a trailer on the street. The man told the Kalispell Police Department he almost lost a tire while driving and thought the incident might be the result of another dangerous TikTok challenge.

A man walking around with a four-legged “little guy” reportedly dropped a bottle of booze and then “slammed the dog on the ground.”

Someone was spooked by a rattling noise coming from their backdoor and the sound of snow crunching outside as if someone was walking around the house trying to get in. The resident reportedly had a protection order against a man and was waiting for a judge to sign it.

A front desk clerk requested police assistance regarding a man who was gesticulating and yelling about people in a room stealing his phone.

Suspicious items were reportedly collected from a room including a bunch of “practice checks” from a copy machine.

A woman alleged her boyfriend’s son was hitting him.

Two calls came in about an RV with white and blue stripes down the middle that was using an extension cord to plug into a light pole in a business’ parking lot. The RV was moved along.

An employee reportedly wanted a belligerent and non-compliant man escorted off the campus.

A vehicle that didn’t have a license plate sped through a school zone at 45 to 50 mph in Kalispell.

A Kalispell woman reported her husband’s gun was missing.

A woman reportedly retrieved items for her daughter who was kicked out of a location and when she started unpacking them, she noticed items missing and damaged and believed her daughter’s social security card was stolen.

A man in Bigfork allegedly owed a woman money he uesd to buy a four-wheeler.

A welfare check was requested for an unresponsive driver sitting in a running vehicle in a Kalispell parking lot. Someone said they thought there was a possible bottle of alcohol next to him.
