Law roundup: Vehicle driven recklessly with glee

| December 21, 2021 12:00 AM

A silver Jeep SUV tore through a parking lot, almost hitting one of the employees, and the driver laughed before leaving.

In another location, a pickup was seen driving erratically, spinning doughnuts, sliding everywhere and revving its engine in a parking lot where kids normally hang out.

A woman called officers claiming another woman parked “in her spot,” and was screaming at her. She did move her car but reportedly remained on the scene watching the caller. Both parties planned to take up the parking spot showdown with the landlord.

A man might have looked to be in his 20s, but a passerby reportedly described him as looking “distressed or cracked out,” and told the Kalispell Police Department he was acting and walking weirdly and putting his hands on his face making it droop.

A Jeep with a busted-out window made a resident suspicious when it allegedly kept driving up and down the alley and street. The resident told officers she talked to the female passenger who claimed she lost something and was looking for her makeup. The resident didn’t seem to buy it, saying she “could tell they were high,” and that she saw the woman earlier carrying a large mirror around.

A man reported his wallet and passport stolen from his vehicle when he received a text alert that fraud took place and that a card was used.

A person was heard yelling, “Don’t touch me. Don’t touch my son,” and a child was also heard screaming in an apartment.
