Firefighters responded to a structure fire at a home daycare on Tall Pine Ridge in West Valley on Thursday, Dec. 23 at about 2 p.m.
About five people, including children, were inside when the fire started, according South Kalispell Fire Chief Chris Yerkes. Everyone made it out uninjured, he said.
The structure is a total loss. Yerkes said the cause is under investigation.
Fire crews from South Kalispell, West Valley and Smith Valley were on scene, as well as the Flathead County Sheriff's and Flathead Electric.
