Whitefish woman killed in crash on I-90
A Whitefish woman was killed Sunday when the vehicle she was riding in collided with a parked semi-truck on Interstate 90 near Belgrade.
She has been identified as Krysti Hoskins, 27, according to the Gallatin County coroner.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Toyota RAV4 was getting onto I-90 at about 10:45 a.m., but due to bad weather was unable to see a parked Freightliner semi. The Toyota rear-ended the semi on the front passenger side.
Hoskins was riding in the car and died at the scene. A 31-year-old man from Whitefish who was driving the Toyota was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.
The semi-truck driver was uninjured.
