Law roundup: Man finds bone saw and blood in truck

| December 29, 2021 12:00 AM

A man allegedly found blood all over the inside of his truck. Nothing was taken from the vehicle, however, a bone saw was left behind, according to a report made to the Kalispell Police Department.

An intoxicated man refused to leave an establishment after being cut off from being served. Instead, he was being “weird and aggressive” to staff and customers and would put his hands in fists and stare at employees who asked him to leave. A second call came in regarding the man, who this time made it to the parking lot but got into an employee’s car and remained steadfast in his refusal to leave without a fight.

An alarm in a white minivan parked in a driveway kept going off all hours of the day and someone “fairly new to the neighborhood” was concerned whether or not it was someone “signaling for help,” or something faulty with the key fob.

A drunk man was yelling and stumbling around Woodland Park for about 10 minutes, prompting someone to call the police. He was then seen slipping on ice in the middle of the road.

A later call came in, possibly regarding the same man, from a woman who reported a man yelling, screaming and generally freaking out in the street in front of her house and she thought he was on drugs.

Someone asked officers to check on a man seen sitting in a chair between two dumpsters. The man, who had a blanket and was wearing a scarf, reportedly told officers he was fine and was staying with a friend nearby.

A front desk employee found a service dog running outside in a parking lot without its owner. The employee was able to bring the husky indoors.

Someone was suspicious a “bigger guy” who reportedly got into a vehicle parked in a driveway was involved in a theft. Officers made contact with a man, who denied any involvement in the incident.

A white van reportedly driving up and down a street pulled into someone’s driveway and left, which made them suspicious it was casing the neighborhood for empty houses.

A man wanted to make an anonymous report, however, he became agitated when dispatchers asked him to elaborate on what the issue was and said, “If you just walk in there you can see. You can tell. If you are good at investigating anything you’ll see it.”
