Timothy Albert Hartmann, 67

| February 2, 2021 12:00 AM

Timothy Albert Hartmann, 67, passed away at his home on Jan. 25, 2021. Tim was born June 18, 1953. Tim was adopted when he was 5 years old by Bert and Virginia Hartmann.

During his childhood his adopted parents were farmers and ranchers; they were very hard workers and Tim also worked very hard. While riding a horse in a rainstorm, a small bit of lighting hit his horse, which caused the horse to really buck!

Tim attended grade schools in Columbia Falls and high school is Cut Bank. After school he enlisted in the Air Force.

Tim took passion in his work, whether it being a rancher or carpentry, which he did beautiful work. One of his creations he made was a lovely and large cross that is in front of the North Valley Baptist Church. He also started his own plumbing business and called it Sewer Muckers. Tim also enjoyed playing games and cards with friends; always laughter in the air.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents Bert and Virginia Hartmann.

He is survived by his wife Elli.

A memorial service will be held at North Valley Baptist Church in Columbia Falls on Feb. 3 at 11:30 a.m. A fellowship meal will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., with a graveside committal at 2 p.m. at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell.

Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls is caring for the family.
