Madison Morken fueled a furious fourth-quarter comeback with eight points and Stillwater Christian rallied to edge Flathead Valley Home School 44-43 for the MCAA girls’ basketball championship Friday at the Stillwater gym.

It was a rematch of last year’s Montana Christian Athletic Association girls’ final, which Stillwater Christian also won.

Morken finished with 12 points for the Cougars, who trailed 18-8 at halftime and 38-23 after three quarters. Bailey Prewitt and Zoe Linn added 10 points each, each hitting a pair of clutch free throws in the final period. Marae Tintzman added seven points and eight rebounds.

Carli Kenney hit two 3-pointers — giving her a school-record 151 for her career — and scored 15 points for FVHS. The Lady Crusaders had 10 points each from Aurora Howery and Abby Wiser.
