No. 27563 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Evergreen Water and Sewer District Evergreen, Montana Improvements to the Evergreen Water and Sewer District Water Tanks General Notice The Evergreen Water and Sewer District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Improvements to the Evergreen Water and Sewer District Water Tanks Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Evergreen W&S District Office located at 130 Nicholson Dr, Kalispell, MT 59901, until April 7th, 2021 at 11 o'clock a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Steel Tank: Remove the existing interior and exterior lead-based coatings from a 1.0 million gallon, 66-foot diameter steel water tank. Provide containment and abatement of lead-based paint on tank interior and exterior. Weld areas of corrosion on interior tank components. Apply new high performance interior and exterior coating. Install new safety ladder and standing platform for access to roof. Install Cathodic Protection system, including magnesium anodes on tank floor. Miscellaneous electrical and mechanical improvements. Install Owner Furnished Equipment which includes submersible mixers and all necessary appurtenances to bring mixers into full operation. Concrete Tank: Remove and replace the exterior coatings from the roof of an 82-foot diameter concrete water tank. Miscellaneous electrical and mechanical improvements. Remove existing deteriorated hatch hardware and replace with owner furnished stainless steel hardware. Install Owner Furnished Equipment which includes submersible mixers and all necessary appurtenances to bring mixers into full operation.
