Sherwin-Williams opens North Kalispell paint store

With commercial construction and residential remodels cropping up left and right, Sherwin-Williams Company has completed a strategic change to address the growing local need.

The Cleveland, Ohio-based paint company relocated its West Idaho Street store to a new building on U.S. 93 North in mid-February. The new North Kalispell Sherwin-Williams Paint Store, located at 430 Cascade Loop, just south of the Kalispell Ford car dealership, will celebrate its grand opening event from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 6. During the celebration customers can receive discounts on paints, stains and painting supplies, and participate in games, product giveaways and a raffle.

Frequent visitors of the Idaho Street Sherwin Williams location will notice the expanded offerings in the new North Kalispell store.

The store features more than 1,500 color options, complete with coordinated color and wallpaper collections.

But the variety isn’t meant to overwhelm customers.

“There’s no need to feel overwhelmed by the many colors and products available: Sherwin-Williams staff are on hand to help you do it right,” a press release noted.

The staff at the North Kalispell store is trained to assist do-it-yourself enthusiasts, professional contractors and everyone in between.

“Today’s home decorators have so many choices in textures, patterns and colors,” Store Manager Lindsay Bowen said. “At Sherwin-Williams, we offer a selection of exceptional products, colors and expert, how-to advice from sales associates who really understand the products they sell.”

Services available from the store include on-site delivery, custom color matching, credit programs, specification assistance and technical advice.

Hours at the new store are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
