Colleen Mary Hofland

| January 8, 2021 12:00 AM

Colleen Mary Hofland passed away peacefully Dec. 29 2020, following a sudden stroke. Cremation has taken place.

She was born Oct. 7 1957, in Cut Bank to Daniel and Joyce Hofland, who have preceded her in death, and whose loving care she is now in.

A fifth generation Montanan, she was a true cowgirl at heart who enjoyed the many treasures the state offered. After graduating from Great Falls High school in 1976, Colleen lived briefly in Billings and Missoula before settling in the Flathead Valley and working in banking as a teller for many years.

With her love of design and eye for detail, she could make any home a true place of beauty and warmth, especially the many blossoms that gracefully adorned the surroundings.

Her Catholic faith was a constant and one of her favorite Bible verses was Ephesians 4:32: "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another just has God also forgave you in his name."

She is survived by her friend Scott Larsen of Kalispell, daughter Jamie Beaumont Myers (Jason) of Idaho Falls, her son Daniel Rose of Kalispell, sisters Danette Bell of Bozeman and Katie Collins (Brad) of Salt Lake City, and many cousins, nieces and nephews

A celebration of life will take place this summer, her favorite time of year.

Condolences may be sent to Danette Bell at 1905 Garden Way Kalispell, MT 59901.

Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
