Lady Lions hold off Bluehawks
THOMPSON FALLS — Katie Schmidt scored 21 points and Eureka picked up the pace in the second and third quarters to claim a 49-42 District 7-B girls’ basketball win over Thompson Falls Saturday.
Michael Shea added 12 points for the Lions, who led 42-29 going into the final period. Jaydyn Pluid and Reena Truman had 11 rebounds each against the taller Bluehawks, and Rhianna Hawkins had five steals.
