Tree-hugger spotted around town again

A man on a bicycle who already had been reported to Kalispell Police Department for hugging trees was now allegedly waving “to all the girls at school,” and looking up at the sky and trees.

An employee wanted officers to cite a man for trespassing because he purportedly was yelling on the side of the building and started yelling at the employee when she asked him to leave because he was making others feel uncomfortable. Possibly the same employee called in a second time wanting to press charges when the man allegedly returned and tried to start fights with customers when they walked into the business, and he kicked over a trash can after he was told to stay off the property. The employee called a third time and started crying when the wayward man came back to haunt her and allegedly kicked in the front door, shattering it, after she locked him out. He then tried to start a fight with someone who was recording him.

A man reportedly approached a woman in a store parking lot accusing her of hitting his vehicle. She claimed she did not hit his vehicle and he began arguing with her, which made her feel unsafe.

Someone wanted law enforcement aware of a man who looked like he was videotaping the store’s video system. He purportedly had a history with the store.

Someone called officers after a woman reportedly beat them up.

A 19-year-old man allegedly threw, or pushed, a 17-year-old girl from a vehicle and started chasing her.

A passerby reportedly saw a man, walking on Meridian Road, throw a metal bar in the roadway. He also was reported for kicking and pounding on a door at a warming center and yelling at employees.

A truck with smashed and patched up windows and what appeared to be a homemade license plate, had been sitting in an East Washington parking lot for a couple of days.

Someone claimed they had to veer their truck away from hitting a pole after being cut off by a vehicle, which caused the airbag to deploy. The man refused medical attention, but said their dog was pretty scratched up. A tow truck was called.

A teen reportedly threatened to stab a man with a screwdriver after a knife was taken away from them. The youth was taken to the hospital for a mental-health evaluation.

A man blocked a sidewalk when he parked his camper.

A parent wanted to press charges against a man for reportedly stalking their son after an altercation because he was seen walking by their residence and walked toward their porch on a previous day.
