Herb Lee Roberts, 47

Herb Lee Roberts, “Home Run Herbie,” age 47, of Kalispell, passed away peacefully in his sleep June 27, 2021.

He was born Oct. 14, 1973, to Richard and Gloria Roberts. There is not one single word that can describe Herb and the kind gentle soul that he was. He loved anything to do with the outdoors, watching NASCAR races, riding his Harley, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

He is survived by his mother Gloria Sauerbier; daughter Illyssa and her husband Brent Thompson; sons Jay Kaufman, and Colten and Brayden Boyle; granddaughters Journey and Edna Thompson; grandson Silas Thompson; sisters Thelma (Randy) Brandt, Lyda (Mike) White, Helen (Layne) Kirkland, and Connie (Luke) Finkelstine; brothers Melvin (Nancy) Roberts, Richard Roberts, Bill Roberts, and Ray Roberts; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Herb will be greatly missed and loved by all that knew him.

Herb is preceded in death by his father Richard W. Roberts.

A graveside service will be held July 10 at 1 p.m. at Lonepine Cemetery in Bigfork, followed by a celebration of life at 4 p.m. at the Marion Fire Department. Buffalo Hill Funeral and Crematory is caring for the family.
