Kalispell Chamber lunch tackles childcare

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly “Business Matters” Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 12, at the Red Lion Hotel with a focus on the topic of childcare.

There will be a panel presentation on “The Business Case for Quality Childcare” and a discussion about securing American Rescue Plan Act funds for childcare in Northwest Montana.

Economic Forum comes to Kalispell July 29

The Montana Chamber Foundation will host the Centers of Opportunity Forum: Treasure State on the Cutting Edge forum from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell.

The event focuses on Montana’s post-pandemic recovery, with Lt. Gov. Kristen Juras and keynote speaker Dr. Pat Barkey from the University of Montana’s Bureau of Business & Economic Research.

There will also be a panel discussion on three of Montana’s most significant economic growth opportunities: bioscience, technology, and advanced manufacturing.
