Ronald Lee Freese, 75

Ron passed away July 11, 2021, at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell. He went peacefully surrounded by four generations of his family.

He was born Nov. 29, 1945, in Glasgow, Montana.

Ron served in the U.S. Navy and was a union ironworker. He was an avid outdoorsman. He was happiest while hunting or fishing with his family and was a longstanding member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Evergreen.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents Myron and Violet Freese, his wife Mary Freese, and his brother-in-law, George Tomcho.

He is survived by his four siblings, Janice Tomcho, Myra Heindel, Jerry Freese and Phillis Stewart; and his four children, Scott Freese, Marti Shoemaker, Marcy Freese and Ryan Ball. Ron had seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

An informal memorial will be held at the Evergreen Moose Lodge Friday, July 16, at 6 p.m.
