Motorcyclist killed in Evergreen crash is ID'd
Authorities have identified a motorcyclist who died Friday after a car clipped the front of his bike in Evergreen.
Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino identified the man as Bradly Nieves, 41, of Columbia Falls.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, Nieves was driving a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle north on U.S. 2 at about 5:20 p.m. when a 2004 Toyota Avalon driven by a 60-year-old Eureka woman entered the highway from East Cottonwood Drive and clipped the front of his bike.
Nieves was thrown from the motorcycle, suffered serious head injuries and died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet. The woman was not injured.
Drugs, alcohol or speed were not suspected factors in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
