Law roundup: Air guitarist rocks on

A business owner calling from Montana 83 in Bigfork reportedly had an issue with a man standing by his deck and playing the air guitar every day because they didn’t want customers to be bothered by seeing him. The business owner told Flathead County Sheriff’s Office they thought he had a mental-health issue and wanted deputies to talk to him and move him along. The business owner was advised it didn’t sound like musical mime was doing anything illegal, but deputies would drive by to check.

A personal watercraft user allegedly was messing around in the water by getting really close to swimmers. Deputies spoke to the owner of the Jet Ski, advising him to tell his buddy to stay clear of swimmers, paddle boarders, and other boats. A warning also was issued.

Deputies received a report that a dirty sheep with an injured leg was limping along on Cottonwood Drive in Kalispell.

A little black bear was scared off a porch on La Brant Road in Bigfork.

A driver calling from Columbia Falls Stage Road spotted eight cows hanging out in the middle of the road about a mile south of Kokanee Bend Drive in Columbia Falls.

A Kalispell woman had questions about her ex-boyfriend having other women in their house and wanted to know what options she had in regard to having them removed.

Drivers were concerned about a man standing in the middle of U.S. 2 East who was causing traffic issues.

A woman allegedly arrived home on Second Street in Martin City to find the windows broken out of her friend’s car, which was parked in the driveway. It appeared as if something blew up inside the car rather than windows being shot out.

Someone hit a gas line with a shovel on Bridge Street in Bigfork and a request was put in to evacuate the area.

Windows and wood were falling from a gooseneck trailer being pulled by a flatbed on Montana 206 in Columbia Falls. Someone told the driver he was losing debris and when he ignored them they called deputies to report it.

A woman moved her parked vehicle off of grass on Crestview Drive in Bigfork when someone called, claiming it was leaking fluids and wanted deputies to counsel her on “her behavior.”

Patrons who were told to go home by a business owner allegedly retaliated by breaking the windshield wiper on the owner’s vehicle and were arguing with people in the parking lot trying to start fights. The owner wanted the Kalispell Police Department to assist in kicking the people off the property and telling them not to return.

An elderly woman called 911 needing a phone number in Great Falls. Dispatchers advised her to call 411 and she hung up.

Someone reportedly looked at the passenger corner of the dash in their vehicle and thought it looked like someone put a torch through the window.

People allegedly were trying to steal a man’s vehicle; he told officers “things were taken off the engine,” the previous day.
