Gabriel Robert Garrido, 44

Gabriel Robert Garrido was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. He left this world unexpectedly on June 11, 2021, at 44 years old.

He was born in Wheaton, Illinois, on April 12, 1977. He later moved to Kalispell where he was raised by JR and Vickey Isles.

In the summer of ‘97, as a teenager, he met his match and she changed his life. Angel Evaro, standing barely 5 feet tall, would later become his bride. Together they had four girls. Two biological girls, Victoria “Tori” and Alexandria “Alex,” and two nieces whom he raised as his own, Alyssa and Gina. He would often work more than one job in order to help provide for his family.

Gabriel’s favorite thing to do was spending time with his kids and his grandson Ryan whom he affectionately called “Peanut.” He loved pranks, hiking, kayaking, was quick with a joke, and had a selfless passion for helping others.

Gabriel and Angel both have spent their lives helping others. Angel is a registered nurse who has devoted her life to helping others. Gabriel also worked in healthcare. Gabriel was often the smile and the comedian you needed to get through the day. His energy was infectious and his energy will be missed.

A celebration of life will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on June 18 at the Buffalo Hill Funeral Home at 1890 U.S. 93, Kalispell, MT 59901.
