Robert E. Lee

| June 22, 2021 12:00 AM

Robert E. Lee, 72, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 24, 2021. He did not make it to 99 years old and was not shot by a jealous husband crawling out a window, but he never grew up.

Always up for a party, a friend to all, and devoted to family, Robert is also remembered as a Marine, starting Libby Cab, his 19 years at Nickel Cars, and his bolt hat.

Robert is survived by eight children, 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one more on the way; four brothers and his favorite sister; two stepparents and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his father J.W. Lee, mother Clara (Maxine) Maytum, and younger brother Jon Lee.

A celebration of life will be held at noon, Friday, July 2, Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kalispell. At 1:30 p.m. there will be an honor service at Glacier Memorial Gardens.

Flower arrangements may be sent to 1185 Old Reserve West, Kalispell.
