Patricia Louise (Taylor) Broad, 70, passed away on June 4, 2021, from complications after a long battle with cancer.

Patricia was born in Whitefish on Nov. 13, 1950. Through her suffering and despite the pain she remained positive with a smile. She was strong and courageous to the very end.

Patti will be fondly remembered as a special person with a kind and loving nature. She always had a smile for everyone and had a genuine lust for life. There was never a dull moment with her quick wit combined with her wonderful sense of humor.

Patsy loved working on her extensive antique doll collection and enjoyed a variety of music. More than anything else, her day was complete when she could spend it with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Christmas was Patti's favorite holiday and time of year. She had Santa visit and entertained in fun-loving fashion every year that her health would allow her to. She is fondly remembered by the residents of the Lighthouse for her generous Christmas party she gave in their honor one year. Family and friends will keep her Christmas parties and her sheer joy of sharing in their hearts and memories forever.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Broad; her father, William James Taylor Sr.; her mother, LaVerne Mabel (Kingery) Taylor; brother, William James (Jim) Taylor Jr.; and her loving cocker spaniel, "Buffy," who met her on the "Rainbow Bridge."

Patti is survived by her son, Clinton Holmquist Jr. (May), of Phoenix; daughter, Kim Ask, of Columbia Falls; son, Daniel House (Jared), of California; sister, Jane (Bill) Tappan, of Whitefish; sister, Shirley (Bill) Wagner, of Whitefish; and sister, Billie (Steve) Hess, of Sun City West, Arizona. Patricia adored her three beautiful granddaughters and a very special grandson. She will be sadly missed by her numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

We are all so grateful to have had Patti in our lives. So short your time was here with us. It is selfish to want you back, but we miss you so much.

Funeral graveside services will be held at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell today, June 24, at 1 p.m.
