The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a call from someone requesting a welfare check on a truck driver when he missed his drop-off to deliver a Vietnamese potbelly pig, and instead drove 20 miles past the delivery address to Hungry Horse, where the pig was dropped off with an unknown person. The intended recipient purportedly received a phone call from someone who said they had the pig and they were going to hold it for ransom. The caller said this was all very unusual because he was a reliable and responsible trucker...
