Robert William Cash, 50

| June 30, 2021 12:00 AM

Special Agent Robert William Cash passed away May 29, 2021, after a five and half year valiant battle against colorectal cancer.

He was born at George Air Force Base in Victorville, California, on Sept. 21, 1970. A military family’s life moved him repeatedly from coast to coast and overseas.

He graduated from Sam Houston University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in law enforcement/police sciences and began a lifelong career in law enforcement. He served as a police officer with the

Houston Police Department and was then selected to join the Department of Justice as a special agent with the Drug Enforcement Agency. After a distinguished 21 years with the DEA, he medically retired as a group supervisor with the Houston Field Division in Texas, and then moved to Montana.

He is survived by his parents, Jim and Marty Cash of Bigfork, his two nieces, Ashley and Bailey, and his many, many friends.

Rob would be honored to have any memorials sent to a law enforcement or a military charity of your choice.

Cremation has taken place and interment will be in C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.

He was a cool, unique, tough person, who was admired, respected, and will always be remembered.

We choose to believe Rob is now a warrior angel. God needed a bodyguard. Who better?
