Mountainfilm on Tour starts today — virtually

| March 11, 2021 12:00 AM

The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation is once again bringing the Mountainfilm on Tour film festival to Montana — but this time, to the comfort of your living room. Mountainfilm on Tour showcases a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and inspiring documentary films curated from the annual Mountainfilm festival held in Telluride, Colorado.

In lieu of their traditional in-person four-city film tour, the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation is hosting a virtual screening of Mountainfilm on Tour with films that explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.

Films will be available to stream online at your convenience between 4 p.m. today, March 11, and 11:55 p.m. Sunday, March 14. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at bmwf.org/mountainfilm-tour. Raffle tickets are also available for a chance to win a wide selection of outdoor gear, wilderness adventures and and local gifts.

The virtual film festival is a fundraiser for the Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation to support its mission of active wilderness stewardship. All ticket purchases benefit the foundation’s volunteer service projects and internships to connect more people with wilderness in the 1.5-million-acre Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex.
