Jerry Lee ‘Jer’ Renfro, 77

| March 14, 2021 12:00 AM

Jerry Renfro passed away Feb. 24, 2021, in Kalispell.

Jer was born on June 18, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Frank L. Renfro and Mildred Louise (Ward) Renfro.

Jer had many accomplishments throughout the years. He earned a

Bachelor of Science degree from University of Missouri, and traveled to different countries. Jer worked as a commercial driver throughout the 48 states. He traveled different states while working for an oil and gas exploration company.

Jer’s greatest passion was working with wood. There was nothing that Jer couldn’t build — oak roll top desks, cribs, dining room tables and, of course, his beautiful 14-,16-, or 20-foot-long canoes. Jer and his family built two log houses on property when he moved to Montana.

Jer loved the outdoors. We would go horseback riding, hiking and camping, and white water rafting.

While never married, Jer touched many hearts during his travels.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Frank L. Renfro, his mother Mildred L. (Ward) Renfro, and brother Donald E. Renfro.

He is survived by his brother John F. Renfro, wife Paciencia, and sons Johnathan and Jeremiah Renfro, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

No services are planned.

Jerry, you will be missed but never forgotten, with love.
