A passerby reportedly saw a man yelling and hitting the hood of a silver vehicle and then heard him yell, “you ran over my foot,” when the vehicle drove away. The man got in a low-rider truck and took off after the silver car, which the passerby described to the Kalispell Police Department as looking like a “mom car.”

Someone reported a drunk driver to Kalispell Police Department when they saw a vehicle driving 35 mph and swerving on U.S. 93. The vehicle then stopped in the middle of an intersection at a yellow light. Trunks out, it was reportedly a lost tourist.

Security requested law enforcement assistance after a man allegedly burnt an employee with a cigarette.

A woman went to the police department lobby to report someone taking things out of her car while she was running errands. However, she said there was a German shepherd in the vehicle at the time, and didn’t know what to think.

A front desk employee allegedly received complaints that a man was “cussing” at his elderly mom and requested a welfare check. Parties were reportedly intoxicated, the woman was OK and they were advised to keep it down.

A very intoxicated and naked man was allegedly walking around the hallway of a hotel and it was unknown which room he belonged to. A woman said he was locked out of his room. An employee then advised officers he was back in his room.

Officers received a later call about a shirtless man covered in tattoos who was standing in a hotel hallway. A front desk employee said he would not provide an ID or information as to whether or not he was a guest and what room he was staying in. The employee said he had been hanging around for approximately two shifts and was giving staff different stories. They thought he might be under the influence because he was “bouncy” and “all over the place” with his answers. He reportedly said he needed insulin.

A blue vehicle left two shopping bags of trash in a parking lot and took off.

An employee allegedly called police to report an elephant was stolen from the store and had video surveillance footage. This was reportedly the third elephant to be stolen during the week.

A man in pastel-colored clothing was purportedly “doing strange things between cars” in a parking lot when he was seen taking things from one vehicle and putting them in another vehicle. He was “moving very quickly,” which seemed very suspicious to someone who called the police.

A woman leaving work alleged a lone 5-year-old was sitting on the swings at a park unsupervised. Officers didn’t locate a child at the swings but did see a child walking with two adults.

A man and woman were reportedly yelling at each other and the person calling in the report claimed an intoxicated driver almost hit the front of a building.

A man wearing a backpack and hat was heard screaming obscenities.
