C-Falls Chamber to get Glacier updates

The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly general membership meeting at 12 p.m. May 11 via Zoom videoconference.

Glacier National Park Deputy Superintendent Pete Webster will give a presentation covering updates for the park in 2021, including ticketed entry and road construction.

Glacier Bancorp sees first quarter net income increase

Glacier Bancorp Inc., based in Kalispell, saw substantial increases at the end of the first financial quarter, compared to the first quarter last year.

Glacier Bancorp reported net income of $80.8 million for the current quarter. Compared to the first quarter last year, it’s an increase of $37.5 million, or 86%.

Diluted earnings per share for the current quarter were $0.85 per share, up from $0.46 per share this time last year. Diluted earnings went up 85% from the first quarter last year.

Glacier Bancorp also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.31 per share, an increase of $0.01 per share, or 3%, over the prior quarter regular dividend. The bank has declared 144 consecutive quarterly dividends and has increased the dividend 47 times.

Landmark, Glacier Sotheby's to host appreciation event

Landmark Whitefish and Glacier Sotheby's International Realty will hold a kickoff appreciation celebration for agents and brokers in the valley from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, at Casey's in downtown Whitefish.
