Law roundup: Woman suspected of ‘having conclusions’

| May 14, 2021 12:00 AM

A man reported a female driver who he said was “having conclusions.” He told the Kalispell Police Department he thought this behavior might have happened because he suspected the woman was “tweaking out.” One could conclude it’s possible he meant to say the woman was having delusions.

Some responsible citizens heard about a break-in and found items they thought might have come from the incident. They told the KPD they picked up the items with a plastic bag and offered to give them to law enforcement “in case they were evidence.”

An out-of-state caller requested a call back from law enforcement, but he said he didn’t know his phone number.

A Kalispell woman had “questions about whether or not someone can fly a drone over her apartment complex.”

A man with a restraining order against him showed up and allegedly tried to hit a woman with his car. An officer who responded said the woman “would not listen to what [he] was trying to tell her.” Apparently, the woman was “frustrated that male has not been arrested on his violations,” so she hung up on the officer and sent his next call straight to voicemail.

A man in his 40s claimed he was “jumped” by some “kids from the skatepark.”

Someone complained about a red Chevy SUV with “all kinds of trash in the front seat.”

A man who was slurring his words somehow managed to call 911 by accident, even though he told the KPD he “did not have a phone he could be called back on.”

A dog with “floppy ears” who “look[ed] lost” showed up at a man’s house and scratched the front door.
