Law roundup: Reckless driver can't handle roundabout
A driver in North Kalispell apparently flew around a roundabout with a trailer full of trees, and they all fell out in the roadway, according to a call logged with the Kalispell Police Department.
Someone lost their Social Security card at a soccer field. A KPD officer collected it.
A man went door to door asking Kalispell residents if he could park in front of their residences, until he apparently got in touch with “a little old lady down the street.”
A computer in a bank started smoking, so the employees evacuated the building.
A mother reported her son for stealing a car, even though he supposedly told her he “did not want the cops involved.”
Someone called 911 because they found a red duffel bag with clothes and another bag with a birth certificate that “smell[ed] of marijuana.” The KPD determined the bags posed “no danger to the public.”
A man called the police because he saw a water hose running unattended on some grass. He said he was “concerned due to water being a valuable resource and it [was] being wasted.” He requested a police officer to turn off the water.
A phone discovered in a roadway was turned into the police.
A man who was “yelling and losing his mind” was asked to leave a business.
A man reportedly wearing two sweatshirts was spotted walking through yards and talking to himself.
A mother duck and her ducklings were spotted in the middle of a street. Some people nearby rounded up the ducklings in a tote and relocated them to a safer area.
