Bryan Thomas Goldizen, 63

On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, Bryan Thomas Goldizen, loving husband, partner, friend and father of two children, passed away at age 63 due to complications from COVID-19.

Bryan was born on Aug. 4, 1957, in Kalispell to Bob and Deanna (Yerkes) Goldizen. He graduated Flathead High School in 1975, and worked for Harrington Pepsi, in Kalispell, for 42 years. In 1978, he married Ramona Payne with whom he raised two sons, Cirby and Kris. Bryan was married to Stephanie (Brooks) Goldizen from 1988 until her passing in 2016. Since 2017, he enjoyed a life with his partner Corby Mortensen.

Bryan was preceded in death by both his mother, Deanna (1985) and his father, Bob (2008), his sister Pam (2014), and wife Stephanie (2016).

He is survived by his partner, Corby; his two sons, Cirby and Kris; sisters, Patti and Robin; and many, many friends.

Bryan was an avid outdoorsman with an immense appreciation for the far-off places in his beloved home state of Montana. He particularly enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with family and friends. He was well-loved and almost well-liked by everyone who knew him. Bryan will be remembered for his sharp-witted intelligence, integrity, sense of humor, and loyalty to those he loved. He will be greatly missed by everyone and forever in our hearts and thoughts.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, at the Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at the Eagles Club. A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 24, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. All are welcome.
