No. 27836 NOTICE OF BOARD POSITION VACANCY MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY Flathead County is accepting "letters of interest" to serve on the Planning Board. The Board has nine members, including a representative from the Soil Conservation District. There is one (1) vacancy that will fill the remainder of an existing term and will run from the date of appointment through December 31, 2021. This position will be appointed by the Flathead County Commissioners. To be considered for a position applicants must be a 'resident freeholder', which means you must live on the property you own, outside the planning jurisdictions of Kalispell, Columbia Falls, and Whitefish, but within Flathead County.
