4 Glacier boys selected All-State for AA soccer
Zane Elliot, John Pyron, Elijah Mildren and Burke Fox of Glacier were all named All-State for AA boys soccer this week, in voting by Western AA coaches.
Flathead’s Rylee Barnes and Glacier’s Reagan Brisendine made the All-State girls team.
Missoula Hellgate’s Marcus Anderson was Player of the Year for the boys, and Missoula Sentinel’s Kassidy Kirgan received the girls honor.
Fox and Mildren led a defense that helped the Wolfpack in the State AA title game, where Hellgate prevailed 1-0 in overtime. Pyron played keeper for the Pack, though he also scored four goals when he was out of the net.
Elliott led the team in goals with 12 and scoring with 32 points.
Glacier placed Sol Dalla Betta, Sullivan Coggins and Sam Ells on the all-conference squad as well. Flathead’s Landon Saraceno also was an all-conference Western AA selection.
Barnes scored three goals for the Bravettes, who also put two players on the all-conference team: Ally Pollan and Fionna Coulter.
Brisendine’s nine goals and 22 points led Glacier this season. The Wolfpack’s Ella Wilson, Calista Wroble and Mickaela Santa were selected all-conference.
