Polson’s Cox earns NW A coach of year honors

Polson coach Lizzy Cox is the Northwestern A volleyball coach of the year, announced in a list released Monday night.

Polson had two players on the all-state list: Camilla Foresti and Elizabeth Tolley. Avery Starr was named 1st team all conference and McKenna Hanson was 2nd team all conference for Polson. Polson also had two players, Clara Todd and Grace Simonich, on the honorable mention list.

Libby’s Ember Rode was named to all-state honors and teammate Julia Martineau earned 2nd team all conference.

From Whitefish, Jadi Walburn made the 2 team all conference list and Emma Trieweiler was honorable mention.

Jazzy Marino and Maddie Stutsman of Columbia Falls were 2nd team all conference and honorable mention, respectively.
