Randy Paul Robbins, 58

| November 17, 2021 12:00 AM

Randy Paul Robbins, 58, passed away in Flathead County on Nov. 12, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Randy was born on July 11, 1963, in Butte to John “Jack” and Ellen Robbins. He was the youngest of four siblings and was very lovingly referred to as “baby brother.”

He attended Emerson Elementary, East Junior High, and graduated from Butte High School in 1981.

Randy thoroughly devoted his life to his love of cars, even taking a career in the auto parts industry. Randy had many cars throughout the years, but the ‘69 Chevy Impala was something he and his daughter Jami bonded over. He was the guy we would call when problems with our cars arose. He gave the most humble answer that always seemed right and had the best way of making everyone’s problems not seem so big while putting it into perspective.

He is survived by the love of his life, wife, Shayla; his greatest blessing, John (Kaleigh); the apple of his eye, Jamilee (Josh); and his bonus kids, Madison, Makyla, Hailee and Blake. He had a soft spot for grandkids, Brysen, Bentley, Jameson, Kaden, Bryant, Kymberlynn, Emersyn and Stenson. He is also survived by his siblings, Lynnette (Mark) Petritz, Gary (Kim) Robbins and TJ (Nate) Wal; numerous nieces and nephews, along with too many family and friends to mention.

Randy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially getting a rise out of them through his quick-witted sense of humor. If you knew Randy, you knew his love for GM cars, Harley Davidsons; well let’s be honest, anything that went fast. Randy enjoyed passing his sports knowledge to his kids and grandkids. Another love of Randy’s was Halloween. He and Shayla always had the best costumes, planning them years in advance.

In recent years, Randy moved to Lakeside where he and Shayla found their dream home. They moved to Lakeside for the scenery and lower elevation to aid in Randy’s health.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ellen Robbins, and other deeply loved family members.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 22, at the Copper King Hotel in the Ballroom, 4655 Harrison Ave., Butte, MT 59701. A graveside service will follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 2415 S. Montana St. in Butte.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Silver Bow County youth sports.
