Libby man dies in Park Co. traffic wreck

A Libby man died in a traffic accident Thursday afternoon near Livingston.
According to information from Montana Highway Patrol, the 42-year-old man was driving a Chevy Tahoe north on Swingley Road at about 3:36 p.m.
Rain caused the road to be muddy and when the vehicle entered a right curve it lost control.
The Tahoe slid off the left side of the road, struck a fence and rolled down a steep embankment. The man was ejected and died at the scene.
The investigating officer reported the man was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Speed was also a suspected factor in the crash.
