Law roundup: Pedestrian hit by vehicle on Idaho Street
A pedestrian in her 70s was reportedly hit by a Chevy Silverado and was lying on the road on Idaho Street.Kalispell Police Department gave the driver a citation and the woman was transported to the hospital.
A woman allegedly got worked up over a white SUV that kept using her parking spot at an apartment complex and called Kalispell Police Department to complain. She also said there was a kitten in the SUV which had been parked there for a few hours. Officers checked on the kitten, and relayed to her that it was “spry and in good health.” She was also advised to work with management on enforcing parking rules.
Extra patrol was requested by someone who alleged their side porch had either been broken into or that someone was on the porch. The person making the request was “all over the place” and talking about running out of gas, a stolen gun, people messing with them the past few weeks and a couple dressed in Halloween costumes.
A vehicle reported stolen in the morning was allegedly spotted in a grocery store parking lot with two men inside later in the day.
A nurse requested a welfare check for a man who left the hospital on foot with an IV in his arm.
A man claimed his girlfriend messaged him all over Facebook that she was taking all his stuff and dumping it at Woodland Park. However, he wouldn’t tell dispatchers what his girlfriend’s name was and hung up.
Someone complained a rundown caravan trailer parked in front of a school on Glenwood Drive was a threat. Officers made contact with a woman who said she was waiting for a friend’s truck to move the trailer.
Someone left a red Chevy Blazer with a busted window next to a woman’s driveway.
Someone was suspicious of a black SUV that allegedly drove down a bike path a short distance and people got out and started walking in the trees. The people left the vehicle lights on and the back hatch open.
A wallet purse with a denim print that contained $500, credit cards and a key was reported stolen from a casino.
Someone reportedly wanted officers to stop their downstairs neighbor from slamming things.

A blue Toyota Rav 4 was seen speeding on Woodland Drive when it parked and the driver, a man possibly wearing a baseball cap and Carhartt jacket, got out and fled on foot, leaving the vehicle running. The registered owner believed it may have been stolen while her husband was sleeping. The vehicle was returned.
