Justin David Lasater, 47

Justin David Lasater, 47, a lifelong resident of Kalispell, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, after a brief illness in Logan Health Medical Center.

Justin was born Dec. 29, 1973, the son of Edwin and Janet Lasater. He graduated from Flathead High School in 1992.

Justin is survived by his wife Amber, the light of his life daughter Madison, his father Edwin Lasater, his sister Jesse Keller and husband Kris, aunt Sandra Rosetti, aunt and uncle Olivia and Jim Pauli, cousin Jamie Lyman and husband Tom and son Collin, many extended family members and many friends.

Justin was predeceased by his mother, Janet, in 2019.

Justin’s work involved extensive travel resulting in friendships all over the country. He was a loving husband and devoted father who shared his love of the outdoors with his family teaching his daughter hunting, fishing, boating, skiing and numerous other skills. His death on opening day of hunting season will be forever etched in our hearts.

The family would like to thank the staff at Logan ICU for their kindness and care during Justin’s illness.

A celebration of Justin’s life will be held at the Holst residence on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 1 to 5 p.m. with a bonfire to honor his life and share favorite memories.
