Law roundup: Dog walker wants to carry stun gun

| October 31, 2021 12:00 AM

A woman reportedly asked the Kalispell Police Department if it was “within her rights” to carry a stun-gun after three dogs ran out from a residence and attacked her dogs while she was out walking them.

A man and woman were reportedly fighting and pushing each other in a parking lot. He went to a parked car where people tried to calm him down.

A woman at a pickup window allegedly thought the driver of a dark blue truck behind her was intoxicated because it was swerving and almost hit a drive-thru post.

A welfare check was requested for a woman clad in black who was lying on the side of the street.

A distraught woman allegedly called officers three times in a row after her ex called and said, “if something happened to her he knows who did it.” Officers made contact and she said she was fine, didn’t need any help and had been drinking alcohol.
