Lavine A. Heuscher, 80

Lavine passed away on Aug. 22, 2021, of natural causes.

She was born July 30, 1941, in Williston, North Dakota, the daughter of Sam and Lucille Maze. She attended Flathead County High School. She also attended C&C Beauty School.

On Nov. 23, 1962, Lavine married the love of her life, Allan “Chuck” Heuscher.

Lavine enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and word search puzzles. Her passion was her children, grandchildren and being the prayer line coordinator and a Euchristic minister. She also made quilts for all four of her children, nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, brother, and her husband “Chuck” in 2008, and son Barry Heuscher in 2008.

Lavine is survived by her daughters, Carla (Rob) Smith, Ellen (Willy) Loop, and Sherry Heuscher, all of Kalispell; son, David Heuscher, of Libby, two sisters, Bea (Jim) Dennison of Kalispell and Ronda (Larry) Anderson of New Mexico; and many other family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at the Risen Christ Church, 65 W. Evergreen Drive, Kalispell.
